My exhibition has entered its countdown phase! My personal watercolor show will be open at Place des Arts from April 04, 2025. My watercolor exhibition theme is defined as “Urban Invitation“. The goal is to invite the visitors to have fun with my watercolor expression as well enjoy the excitement of city scenes and urban life from my pictures. Up to 40 paintings will be on the show!

It is well-known that the hardest part in watercolor is the technique, especially water control and color blending. It is even more difficult when painting cityscape with rich elements. In my works I focus on some details, on the contrary, I utilize larger shapes with less details. While I apply gradient color and darkness to reflect subtle change of light and environment, trying to explore the possibility of watercolor the express urban scene and life.

Beyond technique, I paint with passion trying to harness the spirit of watercolor, in order to create exciting photographs with the ambience of vivid urban life. It is to allow visitors to feel the moods conveyed from the pictures of diversity of urban culture.

Come and have fun! Do not miss the rarely watercolor exhibition of in Great Vancouver District!
